Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Sylvaria Corporation (“we” or “us”) respects the privacy of its users
(“you”) and has developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its
commitment to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the
information we collect, how it may be used, with whom it may be shared,
and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to
read this Privacy Policy carefully before using our application (our
“Software” or “App”) or services (our “Services”). By using our Service,
you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. IF YOU
DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN, PLEASE DO NOT
USE THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES.
This Policy applies only to information we collect in our App and in
e-mail, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in
connection with our App. This Policy DOES NOT apply to information that
we collect offline, information collected in other apps or websites
(including third-party websites you may access through the App), or
information collected by any third party. These third parties may have
their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before
providing information on or through them.
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. Whenever we change
this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this page. Please
check this Privacy Policy periodically.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us through the
email displayed at the end of this document.
There is one general category of information we may process:
StepWisdom uses the iOS Motion & Fitness framework (CoreMotion /
CMPedometer) to read your step count. This is a device-sensor permission
entirely separate from Apple HealthKit — we do not access HealthKit,
and we do not read any HealthKit data.
Specifically, we collect:
We do NOT collect: heart rate, distance walked, calories burned, floors
climbed, sleep data, location, or any other health or fitness metric.
Your step count is processed entirely on your device. It is used solely
to determine whether you have reached the 3,000-step threshold to unlock
a wisdom card. Step data is stored locally on your device and is never
uploaded to our servers.
You can revoke this permission at any time using either of the
following methods:
Option A — via the App: Open StepWisdom → Settings → tap
“Activity Access” → you will be directed to the iOS system
settings page for StepWisdom where you can toggle off Motion
& Fitness access.
Option B — via iOS Settings directly:
iOS 16 and later: Settings → Privacy & Security →
Motion & Fitness → StepWisdom
iOS 15: Settings → Privacy → Motion & Fitness → StepWisdom
If permission is revoked, step counting will be unavailable, but your
existing card collection remains fully accessible.
The app does not request access to your photo library or device storage.
Card images are shared using the iOS native share sheet, which does not
require separate storage permissions.
StepWisdom uses Firebase Crashlytics, a crash-reporting service provided
by Google LLC (a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.), to help us identify and
fix application crashes and errors.
Firebase Crashlytics collects the following technical diagnostic data
when the app crashes or encounters an unhandled error:
Firebase Crashlytics uses machine learning to automatically group
similar crash reports and identify root causes. This processing is
performed on Google’s servers in accordance with Google’s privacy
practices.
This data is used exclusively to improve application stability and fix
bugs. It is NOT used for advertising, behavioral tracking, or any purpose
unrelated to app crash diagnostics. No personal data (name, email address,
health information, step history, card collection, or any user-generated
content) is included in crash reports.
Firebase Crashlytics is initialized only in release builds. It is
completely inactive in debug and development builds.
Firebase Crashlytics is the ONLY third-party SDK integrated in
StepWisdom. We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics
platforms, social login services, or any other third-party libraries.

The information described above is used for the following purposes:
StepWisdom does NOT display advertising. We do not use your information
for advertising, marketing, or behavioral profiling purposes. We do not
sell or share your personal data with advertising networks, data brokers,
or any commercial third parties for marketing purposes.
If any new purposes for processing your information arise, we will update
this Privacy Policy accordingly.
We will not disclose your information, except in the limited
circumstances described here:
Crash diagnostics service: Technical crash data is shared with
Google Firebase as described in Section 2.1 above. No personal data
is shared.
Required by law: If we are required by law to disclose your
information, we may share it with law enforcement or other competent
authorities as required (e.g., to detect, prevent, or address fraud,
security, or technical issues; to respond to claims or satisfy any
legal process, subpoena, or governmental request; or to protect the
rights, property, or personal safety of users, our partners, or the
general public).
Business transfers: In the event that we or any of our affiliates
undergoes a business transition such as a merger, acquisition,
reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, or in the
event of insolvency or administration, your information may be
transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before
your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy
policy.
We ensure these parties must adhere to strict data protection and
confidentiality provisions that are consistent with this Privacy Policy.
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never
transmitted to our servers or any third party:
StepWisdom does not require account creation and does not maintain any
server-side user profile. Deleting the app from your device removes all
locally stored data.
If you wish to request deletion of crash diagnostic data that may be
associated with your device installation, please contact us at the email
below. We will submit a deletion request to Google Firebase on your
behalf. Because crash reports are identified only by a randomly generated
installation UUID (not your personal identity), complete retrieval and
deletion of all associated records cannot be guaranteed.
Crash diagnostic data may be retained by Google for up to 90 days, after
which it is aggregated or deleted in accordance with Firebase’s standard
data-retention practices. For details, see
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
We work in the international space and provide the Software to users
around the world. Firebase Crashlytics, as a Google service, may process
crash diagnostic data on servers located outside your country or
jurisdiction, including in the United States.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), by using the
Service you provide your express consent to the transfer of crash
diagnostic data to countries outside the EEA for the crash-reporting
purposes described in Section 2.1. You may withdraw your consent at any
time by contacting us, though doing so may limit our ability to diagnose
crashes affecting your device.
All other app data (card collection, step history, preferences) remains
on your device and is not transferred internationally.
StepWisdom is designed for a general audience and is appropriate for
users of all ages. The app contains cultural and philosophical content
in a format suitable for all users. The app is rated 4+ on the App
Store.
StepWisdom does not collect any personally identifiable information from
any user, including children. The app does not require account creation,
does not collect names, email addresses, location data, or any personal
details. The only data involved is device step count (processed locally)
and anonymous crash diagnostics.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you
believe that we might have inadvertently collected information from a
child, please contact us through the email below and we will take all
appropriate measures to delete the relevant information.
The security of your information is important to us.
Because core app data (card collection, step history, preferences) is
stored locally on your device, it is protected by iOS device security,
including device passcode and hardware encryption.
For crash diagnostic data transmitted to Firebase Crashlytics, we rely
on Google’s security infrastructure, which employs industry-standard
encryption both in transit and at rest.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect
personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure,
alteration, and destruction.
Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic
storage is 100% secure. In the event that your information is compromised
as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify you in
compliance with applicable law.
In compliance with applicable legal provisions, you have the following
rights regarding your information:
To exercise these rights, please contact us through the email below.
